Arlington Rotary Educational Foundation (AREF)
The Arlington Rotary Educational Foundation (AREF) is the charitable arm of the Arlington Rotary Club. It was originally formed to facilitate college scholarship assistance to graduates of Arlington Virginia high schools. To learn more, click "Scholarships" in the main menu.
Today AREF also funds other charitable works of the Arlington Rotary Club, both local and international. In the last few years we supported the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC); the Arlington Academy of Hope (a school in Uganda); Arlington Thrive; hurricane disaster relief in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands; and many other projects (click "Projects" in the main menu).
The Arlington Rotary Educational Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, IRS Tax ID 54-6046295. Donations (less any consideration received) are tax-deductible.
